PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce defects caused by dust.

SOLUTION: An image sensor 2 constituted of an imaging device such as a CCD or a

CMOS is mounted to a PCB 1, and the image sensor 2 is packaged while being covered

with a holder 3 as a frame member that is a molded component. A lens unit 5 is held in

one opening 3a of the holder 3, and an IRCF 4 that is a transparent member is fixed in the

other opening 3b of the holder 3. External light passing through the lens unit 5 enters a

light receiving area B of the image sensor 2 from the opening 3b to form an image. A

double-sided adhesive tape 6 as an adhesive material is adhered on at least one side of a

circumferential wall in the package of the image sensor 2. Furthermore, a double-side

adhesive tape 16 is also adhered on at least one side of an inner wall held between the

lens unit 5 and the upper surface of the opening 3b of the holder 3 outside the package.
