Introduction.

Mistakes play a crucial role in the learning process.

By understanding the nature of these errors, educators and

students can develop effective strategies to improve

language skills. This research report analyzes my own

writing samples to identify and categorize different types

of spelling errors I make.

Methodology.

I collected a corpus of 200 sentences from my essays

written over the past year. Each sentence was carefully

examined for spelling errors. Errors were classified into

six categories:

1. Phonetic errors.

2. Orthographic errors.

3. Morphological errors.

4. Semantic errors.

5. Typographical errors.

6. Grammatical errors.

Results.

The analysis revealed a total of 40 spelling errors in

the corpus. The most common type of error was phonetic

errors (40%), followed by orthographic errors (30%) and

morphological errors (20%). Semantic errors, typographical

errors, and grammatical errors were relatively rare.

Discussion.

The prevalence of phonetic errors suggests that I rely
