Shirley Sandberg: The Worthy Queen of Silicon Valley

Summers, who became Vice Treasury Secretary of the

then US President Bill Clinton’s administration. At this

time, Shirley was only 29 years old and had already

made her mark in the political circle of Washington.

She showed a strong social and political mind.

A few years later, she chose to resign and decided to “abandon politics and go into

business”, when she was 32 years old.

However, the technology companies at that time did not think highly of the “female

civil servant” who switched to a new profession. After nearly a year, she entered Google, a

small company that was only established for three years at that time. Over the next seven

years, under her leadership, Google became the world’s largest search engine.

She then chose Zuckerberg’s Facebook, when he was only 23 years old, in the face of

has grown at an incredible speed, and the company has increased 66 times in eight years!

executive, and Dave particularly agrees with Sherry’s career ambitions. At that time,

Shirley was proud of her career, and her husband unconditionally supported her work,

which was the happiest time. However, God once again became harsh on the hard-working

woman. On a vacation, Dave fell down in the gym and accidentally hit his head. He lost too

much blood and died.

After a failed marriage and losing a lifelong love, her fate seems to make her life full

of ups and downs, but Sheryl did not compromise. She proved herself again and again

with her actions. As she once said in her speech at the graduation ceremony of Tsinghua

University, “fate favors the brave.” She has been fighting against the fate with her own

courage and strength. She is worthy of the courage.
