英语中表示倍数的四种表达方法

1、加倍表达

double：表示“两倍”的意思；

Example：He earns double the salary of his old one. 他赚的薪水是原来的两倍。

triple：表示“三倍”的意思；

Example：The salary of his new job is triple of it. 他新工作的薪水是原来的三倍。

2、乘以数字表达

times：表示“乘以...倍”的意思；

Example：Her salary is five times of mine. 她的薪水是我的五倍。

multiple：表示“乘以几倍”的意思；

Example：This machine is multiple times more efficient than

last year. 这台机器比去年效率高了几倍。

3、几倍表达

Pair：表示“两倍”的意思；

Example：We will get pair of what we put in. 我们将得到我们投入的两倍。

Fold：表示“三倍”或更多倍的意思；

Example：Their sales have increased fold. 他们的销售额增 - 1 -

加了三倍。

4、分数表达法

One-half：表示“二分之一”的意思；

Example：One-half of the people here are from Japan. 这里的一半人来自日本。

One-third：表示“三分之一”的意思；

Example：One-third of the population are students.
