①Get Ss to look at the picture in 1a, and make a list of the things they like in a

sandwich.

②Then ask Ss to share their answers with the class.

①Ask Ss to look at the picture in 1a again and show the sample dialogue in 1b

on the screen.

②Tell Ss to read the dialogue and then ask and answer questions to find out what

their partners like in a sandwich.

③Select some pairs to share their dialogues in class.

①Get Ss to look at the picture in 1a again and listen to the recording carefully.

②Play the recording for Ss and ask them to circle the words they hear in the

picture. Check the answers together.

①Tell Ss this time they have to pay attention to more details, and let Ss take

notes when they are listening.

②Then play the recording for the second time. Let Ss listen and write the
