英语缩写字ABBREVIATIONS

文件中经常会遇到不少缩写和简化字，除了已被公认或已规范化的缩写和简化字之外，有相当数量的缩写是由撰写人自行决定的。在不同的单位和部门有时会有不同的表示法（如罗罗公司叫燃气发生器为GG gas Generator，机组已运行时间为EH Elapsed Hour，而索拉Solar公司把它们分别称为GP Gas Producer 和 FH Fired

Hour。有的资料中还引用了代码表达法,如Q oil 滑油, QM Main LO system, 主滑油系统等）。缩写和简化字的另一特点是多义性，同一缩写往往会有不同的含义，如：S stator转子，South南方，second秒，第二，switch开关，starter起动机，V volume数量, 容量，volt伏特，voltage电压，velocity 速度，variation变化，viscosity黏度，valve活门，阀门等，常常给阅读带来一定困难，有时还得根据上下文的关系及概念才能定出合适的中文词义。本文试图把与工程技术，特别是和燃气轮机有关的缩写字汇总在一起，以供参考。由于时间匆促，资料收集不全，如有不当的地方请提出意见，以便订正和补充，谢谢。

归纳起来，构成缩写字和简化字的方法一般讲有下面几种

 选原单词的头几个字母构成

如HYD hydraulic液压，VIB vibration振动，lim limit极限，aux auxiliary辅助。

 取单词中的非元音字母构成

如flt filter过滤器，fxd fixed固定的，htr heater加热器，pwr power功率，电力，mtl material材料，drwg drawing图纸。

 选词组中每一个词的头一个字母合成

如WEPP West-East Pipeline Project 西气东输项目，SM starter motor 起动机，起动机电机，FMU fuel metering system燃料计量系统，L & HO lubrication

and hydraulic oil润滑油和液压油，RR Rolls-Royce罗罗公司, XAE Xian Aero-Engine (Group) Ltd. 西安航空发动机（集团）有限公司。

 复合式

如blask blade+disk带叶片的整体盘，smog smoke+fog 烟雾，MIL Spec Military Specification （美国）军用标准，ass’y assembly（装配，总装），O’Mat

overhaul materials大修用料。

 自定义

有的缩写与上面提到的原则并不相符，而是用美国国家标准ANSI C37.2或其他的代码来表达，如QP turbine oil 涡轮油，透平油，QG gas generator oil

燃气发生器润滑油，T25 IP compressor outlet temperature 中压压气机出口温度，T31 combustion inlet temperature 燃烧室进口温度，T455 exhaust

temperature (exit frange temperature) 排气温度（出口法兰盘温度）等。
