摘要：PURPOSE:To shorten a work schedule and reduce construction cost by drilling

the ground forward while copying the internal surface of an existing pipe tunnel via a

guide part laid in front of a cutter device in installing a new pipe tunnel after drilling, and

removing the existing pipe tunnel with the cutter device at the tip of an annular drilling

device. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 2 projected forward from a drilling device body

1 is inserted in an existing pipe tunnel 3 and a jack 5 for each guide device 4 is operated

toward an extension direction, thereby causing the contact of each roller 6 to the internal

surface of the guide member 2. Then, a motor 7 for turning a cutter is started and the

rotation of the motor 7 is transmitted to a cutter device 8 via an annular external gear 7a

and an annular internal gear 8a in sequence, thereby turning the device 8 about the

center axial line of the device body 1. Concurrently therewith, a propelling jack 10 fitted

to the body 1 in front of a new pipe tunnel is actuated to an extension direction, and the

body 1, guide member 2 and each device 4 are made to advance. Furthermore, the

existing pipe tunnel 3 is crushed with the device 8, starting from the end thereof and the

ground surrounding the pipe tunnel 3 is drilled. Also, crushed and drilled pieces and soil

are made to fall into a soil discharge device 11 via a notch part 2a formed at the back of

the member 2 and carried to the back of the device body 1 via the device 11.
