TheTPS2492andTPS2493areeasy-to-use,positive
highvoltage,14-pinHotswapControllersthatsafely
driveanexternalN-channelFETtocontrolload
grammablepowerfoldbackprotection
ensuresthattheexternalFEToperatesinsideitssafe
operatingarea(SOA)duringoverloadconditionsby
grammable
currentlimitandfaulttimerensurethesupply,
externalFET,andloadarenotharmedby
esincludeinrushcurrentlimiting,
controlledloadturn-on,interfacingtodown-stream
DC-to-DCconverters,andpowerfeedprotection.
Theanalogcurrentmonitoroutputprovidesasignal
readyforsamplingwithanexternalA/Dconverter.
Additionalfeaturesincludeprogrammableovervoltage
andundervoltageshutdown,power-goodfor
coordinatingloadswithinrush,andafaultindicatorto
