The Origins of Language.

Language is one of the most fundamental aspects of

The Structure of Language.

Language is a system of communication that uses symbols

to represent meaning. These symbols can be words, gestures,

or pictures. The way that these symbols are combined to

create meaning is called grammar.

There are many different languages in the world, each

with its own unique grammar and vocabulary. However, all

languages share some basic structural features. These

features include:

Phonology: The study of the sounds of language.

Morphology: The study of the structure of words.

Syntax: The study of the way that words are combined

to form sentences.

Semantics: The study of the meaning of words and

sentences.
