摘要：The invention relates to an Internet access control system which allows in a

simple manner a selective cost control or access control for every single client device or

a network of client devices that are permanently wired or jointly radio-linked to the

Internet via a router. According to the invention, the Internet access control system is

installed in the router. It controls the Internet authorization of a respective client device

for an Internet connection desired by the client device, using the respective pertaining

combination of either the client address and the encryption key or of the client address,

encryption key and respective associated information on respective pertaining data

and/or time quota or of a client address and respective associated information on

respective pertaining data and/or time quota or of the encryption key and respective

associated information on respective pertaining data and/or time quota. It is also

possible to carry out a check using the encryption key only. The router accepts the

Internet connection request if a combination that is previously recorded in the router

with respect to the respective client device is recognized and quota to be taken into

consideration has not been fully utilized.
