摘要：An integrated television and Internet display apparatus (30) comprising a high-

resolution monitor (50), multiplexer means (54) coupled to an input of the monitor (50)

and having a plurality of inputs, line doubler means (63) having input and output means

and said output means of line doubler means coupled to a first input of the multiplexer

means (54), television tuner means (60) coupled to the input means of the liner doubler

means (63), and an Internet appliance (70) coupled to a second input of said multiplexer

means (54). The multiplexer (54) selects from a plurality of input audio and video signals

and combines the signals into a single signal for transmission to said monitor (50). The

plurality of multiplexer inputs comprises HDTV signals, NTSC signals, YpbPr component

signals, RGBHV signals and Video Graphics Array (VGA) data. The Internet appliance (70) is

a microprocessor-based device compatible with the Intel 'x86' family of microprocessors.
