I am a mum of a child with special needs. I know how important it is for kids like her to live
a normal life, so I always try my best to meet her needs.
Years ago, I purchased a special trike for my daughter. It was very expensive, but it could
help her move freely. Then she grew up and she was too big for it. I didn’t want to throw it away,
so I decided to post it online and give it away to another family who needed it.
A family came to pick up the trike, and we had a good chat about life. They had a
7-year-olddaughter. Because of her own special needs, she couldn’t play around with her brothers
or sisters. We shared a few tears, but we were excited to see their daughter could ride her first bike
at the age of 7, instead of just watching others.
A few days later, the family sent me a video of their daughter riding the trike and having a lot
of fun with other kids. It made me proud to see her so happy.
This experience taught me a lot and left me with a deep memory. Doing something small can
make a big difference to someone’s life.
