摘要：PURPOSE:To provide a latent heat accumulator of capsule type which is suitable

for small or medium scale latent heat accumulating in the ranges of medium and high

temperature by placing a latent heat accumulating material in a vessel which is formed by

an ultrasonic wave sealing of a metallic foil. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 1 is formed by

rounding a metallic foil in the shape of cylinder, and the ends of the foil at one end of the

cylinder and the cylindrical drum section are overlapped to form an end edge section 2

and a side edge section 3. Those sections are then sealed by ultrasonic waves. From the

open other end of the vessel a latent heat accumulating material is filled up to 75-95% of

the inside volume, and the space in the upper section where the material is not filled is

crushed flat so that no air stays in the space and then side is sealed to form a latent heat

accumulator 10 of capsule type. In is required for the metallic foil that it has excellent

heat resistance and corrosion resistance and a low specific heat and a high heat

conductivity and is of low cost. Aluminium foil and its alloy foils are preferable among

foils that can be used. Since a vessel formed by ultrasonic wave sealing of a metallic foil is

used as a capsule, it is possible to present a heat accumulator suitable for latent heat

accumulation of a small scale and a medium scale.
