  1. 名字的书写格式

下面的讨论来自.php?mod=viewthread&tid=69820，非常感谢作者。

一个中文名字译成英文时，格式似乎还没统一。比如张小三的翻译，

有的期刊是X.S. Zhang
有的是Xiaosan Zhang
有的是X. Zhang
有的是Xiaosan Zhang
还有 ZHANG Xiaosan
还有 ZHANG Xiao-san
还有Xiao-san.Zhang

还没有统一的标准，但自己要保持在各个杂志上的名称一致，如用Zhang Xiaosan，就一直用。现在外国人也知道中国人名字的拼写习惯了，即姓在前，名在后。但建议使用Xiaosan Zhang，这是符合国际习惯的，在SCI等数据库里也是这么收录的，它们会自动收录为X S Zhang。为了防止收录成X Zhang，建议在投稿时可直接将名字写为X S Zhang或Xiao San Zhang比较好。个人经验，仅供参考。

CALL FOR MANUSCRIPTS

The International Journal of Mechanics (IJM) publishes as rapidly as possible manuscripts of high standard quality original research papers and survey articles through electronic submission and reviewing.  It provides a fast communication platform among researchers in all mechanics, with particular emphasis in the integration of theory and applications. It is intended that the journal should act as an interdisciplinary forum for mechanics and its applications. Innovative applications and material that brings together diverse areas of mechanics are particularly welcome. In order to cover as wide an audience as possible, all kind of original works are encouraged. All papers will be in peer-reviewed.
