Classification Standards for Occupational Injuries and

Accidents in Enterprises

1. Fatal accidents: incidents resulting in the death of

an employee

2. Non-fatal accidents:

a. Serious injuries: accidents leading to severe physical

injuries requiring medical treatment and/or hospitalization

b. Minor injuries: accidents causing minor physical

injuries that can be treated on-site or with minimal medical

intervention

3. Occupational diseases: illnesses or conditions

directly caused by the employee's work or work environment,

such as respiratory diseases, hearing loss, or repetitive

strain injuries

4. Near misses: incidents that could have resulted in an

accident or injury but were narrowly avoided due to timely

intervention or other factors.
